Sandra Cook LRPS

Hello, my name is Sandra Cook and for as long as I can remember I have enjoyed taking photographs.

I was so interested in photography I decided to become qualified.  I took and passed 6 exams, achieving 1 credit and then 5 distinctions.  I also became a member of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS).

I applied for a Licentiateship to the RPS, submitted my work, and in 1994 was awarded an RPS Distinction and became a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS).

The reason I have started this site is to share my knowledge and experiences with other keen photographers - and hope that in turn they will share their knowledge and experiences with me - and anyone else that visits the site.

As well as giving more advanced photographers ideas they can try for themselves, I have tried to make the site “beginner friendly”. My hope is that PhotographicHints.com will become a meeting place where we can all exchange our ideas, experiences and knowledge and improve our skills.
